PrimeVision SA ("we," "us," or "PrimeVision") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data when you visit our website (primevisions.ai) or engage with our holographic display, digital avatar, and smart surveillance solutions. We operate under Swiss law and in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (Swiss DPA / nDSG).
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information
When you request a demo, submit an enquiry, subscribe to our newsletter, or engage our services, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, and any information you choose to provide. We collect billing information only when you enter a commercial agreement with us.
Usage Data
We automatically collect technical data when you visit our website: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and time on page. This data is processed in aggregate to improve our website and understand visitor behaviour. We minimise retention of identifiable technical data.
Analytics and Surveillance Data
Our Smart Surveillance Avatar and footfall analytics solutions process video and sensor data within the client's premises. This processing is carried out on-device (edge AI) wherever possible. Aggregate analytics data (counts, dwell time, heat maps) do not identify individuals. Any processing of biometric or identifiable data requires a separate data processing agreement with the client acting as data controller.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your personal data to:
- Provide, operate, and improve our hardware and software solutions
- Respond to enquiries, provide quotes, and deliver contracted services
- Send commercial communications where you have consented or we have a legitimate interest
- Process payments and fulfil contractual and legal obligations
- Analyse usage to improve product performance and website experience
- Comply with Swiss, Italian, and EU regulatory requirements
- Prevent fraud and ensure system and user security
Our legal bases for processing are: contract performance, legitimate interests (balanced against your rights), legal obligation, and consent where required.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: With vendors (hosting, analytics, payment processing, CMS infrastructure) under data processing agreements that meet GDPR and Swiss DPA standards.
- Installation partners: Where necessary to deliver on-site services in Switzerland or Italy, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: When required by Swiss, Italian, or EU law, court order, or regulatory authority.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
When personal data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable, role-based access controls, regular security assessments, and on-device edge processing for sensitive surveillance data. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we strive to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you and relevant authorities of any data breach in accordance with applicable law.
5. Your Rights (GDPR & Swiss DPA)
Under the GDPR and Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data where there is no legitimate basis for its retention.
- Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@primevision.ai. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or an EU supervisory authority.
7. Third-Party Services
Our website and solutions may integrate with third-party platforms (analytics, communication tools, CMS infrastructure, payment gateways). Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies. We conduct due diligence on all data processors to ensure they meet our standards. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services not acting under our instructions.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. Contact and enquiry data is retained for up to 3 years from last interaction. Customer contract data is retained for 10 years as required under Swiss commercial law. Analytics data is anonymised after 26 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time subject to our legal retention obligations.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed to business professionals and are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will post the revised policy with an updated date.
